We serve the needs of students from all over Eastbourne and have a reputation for excellence enshrined in “Achieving Together”. Changes to uniform requirements

There have been a few changes to the uniform requirements from September 2010. Click here to read the details of the changes.

Academies

The Secretary of State for Education, Michael Gove, announced legislation on 26 May 2010 which will allow him to approve schools to become academies. All schools have been invited to register their interest.

Ratton has registered an interest, although at this stage we have no plans to become an Academy. We wanted to ensure that we are kept informed and that our options remain open. The Governors are committed to consulting on Trust Status and see no reason to be distracted from this focus.
